Hi =) when I open catalyst control center, I can see that the computer has 1024 megabytes dedicated to video memory.
Where can I change the dedicated video memory for my notebook?
This is my computer

I found this that confirms it is shared memory, just the maximum amount is not listed.

All I could find was that the graphics are on the same chip as the CPU that is why it is called an APU = CPU + GPU.
The video memory that it has is being borrowed from system RAM memory for use as video memory, so I am trying to find out what is the maximum video memory that can be allocated to it.
This link below is my source.

Where did you find the information that the dedicated graphics processor is soldered to the motherboard?

Hi,
Total video memory is a combination of what is physically on the card, with the "shared" amount determined by the total amount of system ram and is not user configurable.
Users cannot alter the amount of memory shared between the graphics card and system memory, however there are very few chipsets available where user do have an option to change the amount of memory they want to allocate.
Please refer http://bit.ly/1clAkZE for more information.
Thank you

Hi,
Thank you for reaching us.
Unfortunately we cannot increase the video memory in a laptop as the dedicated graphics processor is soldered to the Motherboard.
Even if it is a desktop PC, if the installed RAM is 8GB, The recommended graphics memory is 1GB.
Thank you
