I have an Inspiron B130 notebook computer. A few days ago,while it was plugged into an outlet, it began to flicker back and forth between battery power and outlet power. I turned it off, not wanting to ruin the battery or the AC adaptor. The problem has not gone away, and now my battery is dead. The computer will no longer turn on at all anymore.

The AC adaptor in question is a PA-16 Family, Model ADP-60NH B. My battery is a TYPE HD438, capacity 29WH.
