I am trying to help a freind restore his Inspiron 1300 Laptop to factory settings. I have no idea how many people have had thier hands on this computer, but somewhere along the line a password was set. Nobody knows what it is, and he is on limited income, and has COPD, not long to live. I can not afford the $50+ to get tech support help, and I know he can't. There has to be a way around this. Any HELP please.
