Corrupt system 32
2 nights ago, I turned off my Dell Inspiron Mini 10 manually by its off button, instead of going to start>turn off computer & When it turned back on i got the black error screen that read "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM" So I have tried everything to try and fix this problem, but i decided to go ahead and wipe my computer clean but before i do that I would like to extract all of my files (pictures, audio, video) off of the computer because I use this computer to store some of my files for my work, and I need those files before i wipe the computer clean.
So if anyone, Could please help me solve this issue with my System 32 problem or help me in anyway by telling me how to extract all of my files (yes i have tried going through safe mode but it doesn't work) I would be grateful, very grateful

This is a faulty registry file - usually caused by a dying hard drive with bad sectors. Remove the hard drive, mount it in a 2.5" USB case and attach it to a working system by USB. Copy your data files to the working system.
Then return the drive to the netbook, and boot to the Dell diagnostics. Run an extended test on the drive - which will likely show a failure. In that case, replace the drive with a new one.
