Crazy Polygons..

I have an Inspiron 8100, with a GeForce2 Go. I tried to play homeworld 2 with it, and after about 5 min the Polygons just start jumping around like crazy, and some are missing. When you start the game i get a warning that the drivers are out of date. I know that this isn't the best place to post this, but i was thinking that some of you video card gurus may be of some assistance. Sierra is/was usless.

I have also noticed that when this problem didn't occur when i had the demo. I'm thinking that maybe the driver is causing the problem. Right now i have the latest verson installed, however i didn't before. I had been using the previous version up untill recently when i reformatted because this version caused some major instabilities. Does anyone know what the most stabil version is and where i could get it?

sounds like the core is overheating to me.

or that the card is not compatable.

for example command and conquer generals would not play right on my m9000 which is a dx 8 card.

i haveno idea why but it was freaking out missing textures and did not work properly at all.
