I recently purchased a del xps 15z and I love it except for one thing. As i'm typing text or clicking on items, the cursor just disappears and I cannot continue typing. This happens mid sentence often and is very annoying as I have to keep clicking back on the spot I need to continue typing and the cursor comes back. This is happening anywhere on the computer be it the internet, word, excel, documents etc. Is this is a software or hardware related problem?

It has happened five times whilst just typing this sentence.
