D600 Freezing Problem

Good day,

I have a D600 that randomly freezes. The system appears to be running, but the keyboard/mouse will not function. Except that I can hold down the function key and hit the escape button to put the computer into hibernation mode. Often, when it freezes, I get a white screen that just reads www.dell.com. Or on occasion, I will get this message: "You have inserted a module into the D-bay attached to your docking station but this module is not supported by the D-bay. This module will not be functional if left in place. You should remove it now. Press or ." The funny thing is, I am not attached to a docking station.

I have tried the Dell diagnostics and everything passes. I have tried installing new memory and that has not solved the problem. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Could it be the hard drive? Or the motherboard? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey i got a suggestion thats what i think the problem could be ...

Even though that the Dell diagnosis passes , then i could be mostly something to withing the windows or any external devices connected to the sytsem ...

Few steps that you can try to resolve your problem is ....

    1. Enter the system setup and make the Usb decive to no boot or usb emulation to
        No boot ...
    2. In the windows Eventviewer you can check the application and system logs to
Check which application or system device is causing the problem
    3. The error message you are getting that could be due to cd rom or dvd rom drive
bay might not  properly working  - i guess so

    Thanks ....
