D800 Bluetooth install problem

I have 3 D800's w/o internal bluetooth, w2k-sp4 and all have this problem. I bought a Motorola Razr V3 phone that came with a bluetooth adapter. When I load the mobile phone software that came with the phone,  it loads a Widcomm driver for the bluetooth adapter. Then when I plug in the adapter, windows recognizes it as a CSR USB Bluetooth Adapter but puts it (in device mgr) under USB controllers instead of showing it as a new category type called Bluetooth. The Bluetooth icon on the desktop does nothing and the Bluetooth icon in the systray shows blue/red and says 'no devices found'.

What do I need to do to get this adapter to install properly on the D800s? I have the same problem when I tried to install an Iomega usb bluetooth adapter on the D800.

Both of the adapters installed and worked properly on a Dell Optiplex GX270 that I have and on my Thinkpad 22m.
