Dell Inspiron 3521
I am thinking of getting this laptop and adding an ssd and extra memory. My question is since the RAM in this model is 4 gb single channell, will there be a slot for a second ram stick and will it then work in dual channel mode?

Hi djmik21,
Inspiron 3521 has 2 SODIMM memory slots which support DDR3 DIMM at 1600 MHz and maximum capacity of 8GB. When both DIMM connectors are populated, the system has optimum dual-channel performance.
