I just found out that i have these 2 extra slots besides the wireless card WWAN and WPAN.
I believe the WWAN can be suse for Bluetooth or something else and what about WPAN.
please let me know as i would like to use these slots that were made to be used.

Hi mmsk99s4m,
From your post I understand that you want to install “Intel Flash Cache Memory” in both WWAN and WPAN slots. If so, please note that we have not tried using two Flash Cache Memory chips simultaneously in our machines.
Yes, Intel Flash Cache Memory chips are compatible with several other Dell Laptops. When these machines were tested only 512 MB and 1 GB Flash Cache Memory chips were available so it cannot be said assuredly that the Flash Cache Memory chips of bigger sizes will work.
We cannot assure the functionality of ”Intel Turbo Memory 2G 2GB half Size MINI PCI-E Card for X200 X200S”. Dell Part Number for Intel Turbo Memory (1 GB) is KX960.

thank you for the reply. can i use one in each slot WPAN WWAN.
Are these specific for this laptop or are they compatible with the other Dell models and how about the size 512MB/1Gig/2Gig.

I have recently purchased the 1GB Intel Flash Cache Memory card for my DELL Studio 1535.
I have been searching for hours and I am unable to locate the correct driver for the Studio 1535. The only driver I have been able to locate is 'R154164.exe' which I attempted to use, but after installing this driver, it prevents my laptop from booting into Windows, and I have to use the last Restore Point to get back into Windows.
After closer examination of the driver mentioned above (www.dell.com/.../DriversDetails, it does NOT support the Studio series of laptops. (probably the reason why Windows will not boot after install).
** My system is a DELL Studio 1535 (Service Tag: CSK0WG1), running Widows Vista 32-bit with 4 GB of RAM (upgraded years ago from the original 2 GB without issue).
From everything I have read, this 1GB Intel Flash Cache Memory should work with my Studio 1535, but I would need the appropriate drivers. Any assistance in locating the appropriate drivers would be greatly appreciated! I very eagerly look forward to your response.

Use the WPAN card slot on the Studio 1535 either for WPAN (Bluetooth) cards or for the Intel Flash Cache Logic Chip. WLAN and WWAN cards do not work in this slot and should not be installed here.
