Disable password checking
I have an Inspiron M5010 that has a HDD password. I know the password and do not have any issues accessing anything but I would like to disable that feature. I have checked the BIOS and cannot see that there is anywhere to disable that feature. Again, I have the password and can access everytihng, I just want to disable that annoyance. Any help is appreciated!

Hi,
In BIOS under Security, there will be an option for HDD password, press enter and enter your password, for new password leave blank and continue.
