    Hi gauxrox,

Please try to download this file which will install the Dell Webcam Central application and driver. This application is for SX2210 monitor but I hope this should work on this system also.

You can also download webcam central from the My Dell Downloads application if it is installed on the system. You can register and install My Dell Downloads by following the steps given in this link: http://dell.to/QnbTt9

Please reply if you have any further questions.

    gauxrox,

Did you recently install/reinstall the operating system? If yes, did you install the drivers in the correct order? How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Windows 7/8 is supposed to provide the webcam drivers for most Dell computers. If you system needs webcam drivers, go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag, then select your operating system. If your system needs webcam drivers, they'll be listed under Input.

    Try reading...

Troubleshooting the Dell Webcam and Dell Webcam Central Software

You can try this file, also known as Dell Webcam Central.

Create a new unrestricted user account and try the webcam. Did the webcam work?

If yes, log out and log back in to your account and try the webcam. Did the webcam work?

If no, then the webcam became detached from the motherboard, usually near the webcam

If your computer is under warranty, click on the blue DELL-Satya P on the nexr page, start conversation and please provide the following...

    First and last name

    shipping address

    phone

    email address

    service tag

Hi Rick, thanks for help me.

In "Drivers & Downloads" session, after type my service tag, under input, I have four itens:

    ALPS ELECTRIC-Driver

    Dell-Driver

None of them applies to integrated webcam.

    gauxrox,

Then that means that Windows and/or Dell Webcam Central provide the drivers for your system.

See if your system has the old preboot diagnostics, should look like Webcam Diagnostics If it's the same, then see if the webcam shows in the symptom tree.

    Hi Rick,

I download, install and reboot but windows 7 and the follow message appears: "there is no webcam". (See screenshot)

In Computer > Device Manager, there is NOT a listing for imaging devices. (See 2.f  here)

See if your system has the old preboot diagnostics, should look like Webcam Diagnostics If it's the same, then see if the webcam shows in the symptom tree.

My preboot diagnostics don't show this option.

    gauxrox,

Do you have Fast Access Facial Recognition software installed?

What happens when you try Test Webcam ? After you click allow, does it work?

    gauxrox,

So it sounds like your webcxam became detached from the motherboard, usually near the webcam.
