If the Dell driver is no good for you, you will need a modified .inf ("modded INF") file to use the drivers from the ATi website. Google for that, or look for omega drivers for your card.

In contact with Dell tech support, they said that the reference drivers for the mobility readon from the ATI web site will work. I have an X-1400, and have used the following file from ATI: 6-6-mobile_xp_dd_ccc_enu_33680.exe. I do not know how to link to it, but a search of the ATI web site for that file should produce results.

hi sir i have same problem i am using inspiron 6000 i have have no video problem but instead i my computer does not show hibernate option some of the member in the forms suggest me to install video drivers i don't know very well about these things but all my drivers in device managment is correct no error sigh shows their ...i read the dell manuall where i found that my computer has videoo card

so i download the ati mobility radeon software but it shows warning(sutep was unable to find that can be install on your current hardware or software configration...please make sure that you have the required hardware and software )

Hello, problem solved i used Radeon omega drivers and now its all working just fine and dandy
