E1505 partial video problem

Standard programs seem to work fine. Video playback from DVD and some games not working at all - just error message
HARDWARE>SYSTEM shows ????? on video and no drivers installed - cant be totally corrupt since most everything works
Unfortunatly the records at Dell show just WF147 128MB video asinformation. Tried multiple drivers - either wont load becuase the card isnt correct or I get a message on the basic video card that some of the files necessary are either not installed or are corrupt.
This is a fairly recent reinstall of XP and has been working fine
Looking for help and ideas as I cant be 100% sure what driver I even need due to poor documentation
