EMEA Internal Dell Wireless 5550 MiniCard
Hello there,
I have a question regarding this card LINK
I have it in my dell latitude e6520. In that laptop, theres an unused not populated RJ11 connector. It is possible to implement an antena CRC9 socket there, that would be connected to this card AUX connector.
I would like to use this kind of antena http://allegro.pl/antena-huawei-e3131-e156-e173u-e353-11dbi-3g-hspa-i3169855462.html
My question is- would that work, and is aux the proper place to connect it?

Hi bremen-pl,
This card is a standalone card and needs to be used in proper slot with the correct cables attached. We have not tried connecting any other antenna to this card with our machines. You can wait in the forum for some other user to respond who has tried this.

Hi bremen-pl,
“Dell Wireless 5550 HSPA Mobile Broadband Mini-Card” is compatible with “Latitude E6520” and can be attached to mini-card slot in it. You can use the available antenna cables in the machine you will not need any additional antenna cable for this.
Hope this helps.
