Error Code 1000-0145

Hi anyone out there,
 
I have a Latitude D600 notebook. Last week this notebook started to slow down very badly so I did a diagnostics test. During the DSI short status test, a failed message appears and error code is 1000-0145 . So what does it mean? Hard disk going to crash?

    The DSI short status test? If the error code came up whilst running through the HDD tests, i would contact Dell with this code and have the HDD replaced. The HDD may not crash any time soon, but i would be backing up any important data and replace the HDD ASAP.

    That is correct. You must back up your data as early as now and call tech support. If your warranty is still valid, you maybe entitled to a HDD replacement.
