i got a laptop Dell inspiron N4050 and it's running really well, until I noticed yesterday that the fan has stopped and my laptop has been heating up and turning off immediately.
I pressed F12 while booting up my laptop and ran the diagnostics on my laptop and came out with this Error.
error code: 2000-0511
validation: 65371
i also found another error while checking hard drive
error code: 2000-0142
validation: 47076
Please help, i do not have my warranty anymore.

Hi Maryam Sweety,
2000-0511 indicates Fan - The fan failed to respond correctly. We need to do BIOS update.
Let’s try running diagnostics once the BIOS update is done.
- During BIOS update verify that the computer is connected to an AC Adapter.
- Disconnect any third party peripherals connected to the computer before performing BIOS update.
- Do not turn off the computer during the BIOS update.
- Do not restart the computer during the BIOS update.
- Ensure battery charge is more than 20% during BIOS update.
Note: Plug your computer to a good, working UPS before you update the BIOS. If you experience a loss of AC power or a significant voltage sag/spike during the BIOS flash, you will either have to buy a new BIOS chip or buy a new motherboard.
Now rerun the diagnostics. If the issue persists we need to replace the fan
2000-0142 indicates hard drive failure. We need to get the hard drive replaced.
***Note: Backup data by contacting a local technician of possible.
As the warranty has expired, I recommend to contact expired warranty services.

Awaiting your response!
