Help Menu
Hello was just wondering if anyone had this problem. I have a dell inspiron 7000. I was using power point when the powerpoint help menu popped up. I click it to go out and it keeps coming up and wont let me get rid of it. So i shut the program down and the windows help menu pops up. And same problem will just keep popping up even when i min it to the tool bar it will still pop up. Could this be a keyboard issue? I ran the system check on the dell website and the keyboard passed. But it was not doing the problem at the time. This does not always happen but after using it for about 15 or 20 min it will start and then even if i shut down the computer and restart it will keep popping up. Any thoughts? Thanks. Or does anyone know how to disable the windows help menu??

it sounds like the windows key is getting stuck, you can try looking for a small program that disables the windows key, called "winkeykiller", but there may be other versions of the same program. it is a popular little utility among gamers, as the win key will pop you out of your game, and it is usually right next to keys you often use in games.
here is a link to information about editing the registry to disable the windows key:
