I decided to reinstall my Windows XP Media Edition. I have an Inspiron 1501, and I am unsure of how to fix my screen. The display driver I downloaded didn't seem to fix the blurry words and the blurry stretched pictures. Granted, my laptop monitor is wide screen, I don't remember ever having this problem. I also am having a problem with my internet. I type in a webpage and automatically a new web browser pops up and freezes my internet on BOTH or sometimes THREE different webpages. I can surf the web through one web browser but as soon as I change the www. on top this happens. When I do this, my internet freezes and shuts down. Also I am continuously having unexpected shut downs of my system. Especially when I am downloading something, or even in the middle of surfing the web. Then it is hard for me to turn the computer on, it almost sounds like it tries to start, but it doesn't have enough energy to... I have to keep trying for a minute or so.
