Inadvertent Mouse Clicks

Hi.  Does anyone else have this problem, or have a suggestion for me to fix it?  I have an Inspiron E1505.  I am getting random mouse clicks all the time and it is driving me insane (not to mention slowing my work down tremendously.)  One minute I'm typing on a certain line, the next I'm typing on another line where the cursor just moved to. 
 
HELP!!  Please.

    Are you sure you're not 'thumbing' the touchpad accidentally?  Check under Control Panel>Mouse> Touch Pad - see if 'tap to click' is enabled under 'Taps'. If it is uncheck it and see if the problem goes away.
