insp 5100 video camera connection

does anyone know what kind of cable i need to connect a sony digital 8 camera to my inspiron 5100?  the computer does not have the big firewire input like my desktop, but it does have a smaller 1394 connection.

    You need a 4-pin connector for the notebook side and whatever the camcorder requires - 6 pin, most likely.
