Inspiron 8200 Display bad
My Inspiron 8200 display has suddenly developed a grid like disfunction, flashing, etc. The video card is an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000.
I have checked the connector to the video card. Does not seem to be a problem there. I have not checked the connection in the display (a little afraid to mess with the display).
I suspect the card is failing.
Does Dell stock replacement cards? I tried to locate a replacement on Dell outlet, but couldn't.
What other options do I have. I believe this model can also use a GForce card. Anybody know what cards the unit can use? Perhaps I can do a Google search for a replacement.
