Keyboard screws

I received a replacement keyboard and am trying to take out the old and the screws are all difficult to remove, even with the philips head Dell sent me.  They are almost stripped but I got 3 out of 4 out.  My question is does anyone have any ideas on what to do without ruining the chance of putting in the new keyboard.  OR will Dell send me new screws if I tell them what I found, and will it be free of charge?  Thanks.

    SocLaxSim,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

If the screws are stripped, then you may want to have a Dell technician perform the work on your system.  Basically, if a Dell technician breaks a component, the fix will be covered under warranty.  If a non-certified person breaks a component, then the repair will not be covered under warranty and the system must go into the depot as out-of-warranty.
