I recently bought a Dell Latitude E7440(i5-4310U) from my mother's previous employer, and I have found that the processor fan does not work. After running a diagnostics check, I got the error listed in the title (2000-0511). I have searched and found some relative solution for a different Latitude model, but the solution involved downloading a BIOS update that is not applicable to my model. If possible, I would like to be informed of possible software solutions before replacing the fan or doing any hardware fixes, but, if the  latter is necessary, please inform me.
