LCD Buzz
Hey,
I recently just purchased my new 640m/e1405 two weeks ago. This is my first notebook. I'm very happy with it execept there seems to be a buzzing sound coming from the diplay. The buzzing sound will change from high or low by adjusting the brightness. I found out that it is coming from between the two hindges. I can push in the plastic in between the hindges and feel the vibration and the buzz will change depending where and how hard i push. Sometimes the buzz will go away. Is the buzz typical or is the display defective? Also, if a warranty replacement is required, will they send a screen or do i ship back for repair?

I had exactly the same problem as yours. So I called the technical support and my screen was exchanged with a new one. A technician came to do the setup.
