Mini 9 Screen Resolution Changes on Reboot

When I reboot the Mini 9, the screen resolution reverts to 800x600.  What can I do to force it into the higher resolution and stay there?

Have you installed the appropriate video drivers?

Which operating system version are you using?  Ubuntu?

Sorry- I forgot to say its running Win XP.  All drivers are what came preinstalled.  I did flash the bios and today I replaced the RAM with a 2 GB stick, but the resolution problem started before the RAM transplant

The solution for me was to reinstall the video driver.  You can get it from the Dell Support website.

Hopefully it will work for you to

I have already done that and I still have the issue. whats weird is that it seems to only due it on restart but not if I shut it down and then turn it back on ! I also upgraded ram tho but mine is dell ram.

One thing I noticed is that I started having screen resolution problems after I turned off the language bar.  Not sure there is a connection, but reinstalling the video driver after disabling the language bar is what worked for me.
