modded inf -- makes a difference?
I have an Inspiron 8600 and have the latest DELL video driver. I like to play Flight Simulator 2004 and NHL 2004 a lot. Which modded .inf should I use and which driver should I download? I download the driver itself from nvidia's website and the modded .inf from Pieter's site, right? Will I notice a big difference in graphics? Anyone else play FS2004 that can comment on any improvements?
The best for your card should be the Nvidia Forceware 53.03 as this will bring the best performance out of the FX5650's DX9 capabilities. Get the INF from Teraphy or Pieter, I'm not sure which is best for this particular version, but Pieter has updated his more recently (I usually use Teraphy's for mine, 44.03).
