New Laptop LEDs not functioning

Hi, I've tried searching everywhere and can't find any info on this issue. I just got a new 15 5000 laptop. The power button and battery LEDs don't seem to be working, is there a way to turn them on?

    Hi,

    Given in this case the system is not getting sufficient power from the source. Try these steps and advise the result,

    *Disconnect system from the source remove the charger & battery  ,then keep the power button pressed for about 10 -15 secs then power on the system with the charger connected.

    *Try a different charger / battery then see if the system powers on.
