The guide includes instructions for evaluating Windows 7 or 8.1 32 Bit and installation via a bootable USB which will be necessary on that particular system.
Dell have Windows 7 32 Bit drivers listed for this model:

Windows 7 will run - but not in ideal fashion. There are alternative OSes that will run - I loaded Android on my old ASUS netbook and it runs fine. So will many versions of Linux.
Unlike Windows, android and linux are free of charge.
