Are you installing as an OS only? If so you'll have no problems at all - I installed it on my 1530 several months ago and had to put up with standard resolution and couldn't use the fingerprint reader which was no loss to me.
If you do use your machine as a server you may want to consider upgrading your ram - especially if you increase the roles of the server. The best part is you can evaluate it for 60 days then renew up to 3 more times! That's almost 1 year.
Good Luck. Please let us know how it goes.

Your system meets the recommended requirements as posted here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/system-requirements.aspx
