Strange Problem

I was doing some holiday shopping online today on my 8600 notebook and encountered a problem than has never arisen before now.  From the website that I was visiting, after I clicked on the button to add items to the shopping cart, I got a page saying that there were no items in the cart.  I assumed it was a problem with the site and contacted them.  Meanwhile, I powered up my desktop computer, went to the site, and had no problems whatsoever when I added items to the shopping cart.  I've checked my security and privacy settings and they are identical on both computers.  The customer service department emailed me saying that they checked their site and that it was working fine.  They informed me that it was necessary to have cookies enabled (DUH!) and suggested that I check my Internet security settings to make sure they weren't "too high" (I have them set to "medium").  Coincidentally, when I visit the Speakeasy.net site to run speed tests on my notebook, I don't get the results page after the test is completed.  Again, this site works fine on my desktop.  Any thoughts about what could be causing the above?

Sounds like a java script issue maybe. Is your browser the latest upgrade on the notebook? What browser are you using? Try another browser on the notebook if you have two installed.
