Hi. I have a latitude 510 notebook. The problem is that when i connect it to my Sony TV through the Svideo output connector, nothing happens. Can somebody please help me with this. Thank you

    - check your display settings: the output should be set to dual/clone to send a signal out the svhs-plug

    - if the tv-out option does not appear, check the svhs-cable. it might be bad or damaged. happens quickly. if the is the case, the tv-out option will not even be available (as if no cable was plugged in)

    - once you're sure the screen clones, check the tv-out format (ntsc or pal, whichever applies)

    - last: if you want to play video, make sure tv-out is set as primary output. otherwise, you'd have the video overlay on you laptop screen and the same spot on your tv will remain black.

    hope this helps.
