Can you upgrade a video card on a laptop?

    To expand on the above posts, you need to supply much more detailed information to get a definitive answer to your question. People who read these forums regularly have a tremendous amount of experience and information, and are happy to share it, but need to know your exact computer model and the configuration of your existing video card.

    If you supply this information, I'm sure you will get good advice here, as many people have.

    Hello!

    You are right Pauline,

    I want to take the opportunity to thank you, johnallg, not rich yet and all the other people who help others (like me) out of their Dell problems or advice them.
    You have helped more than once or twice and I think a lot of people know what you are doing and appreciate it. Often delltalkers come up with more helpful knowledge than dell technicians.
    It would be time for DELL to wake up and give a prize for the continued support of their products by dedicated delltalkers.

    Can anyone confirm if the 64 meg geforce 4 go will fit in an 8100 with a 16 meg geforce 2 go?
