Web pc wont recognize additional ram

I have a dell web pc and it came stabdard with a 64 mb ram. I recently bought a stick of 128 mb ram and i installed it.  I go to contorl panel and settings and look to see what i have for memory and it still says i have 64.  I bought the correct ram for it (pc 100) and i installed it correctly because of the fact that it recognizes it in my bios and on the dell web site. Any suggestions as to why it wont recognize my ram?

If the BIOS is showing the memory everything is fine.. with the hardware. You may need to reload your OS.

Great your problem is solved Justin,

I just put in new RAM as well...  I ordered the RAM card from Dell.  I was having a hard time finding the correct SDRAM card in stores and Dell was not more expensive.  Using Dells' on-line help http://docs.us.dell.com/docs/systems/dweb/, the RAM card went in and the innards got a much needed vacuuming.  I had no need to reload the OS (restore disk); maybe because the RAM card was absolutely compatible.
