Hi

My daughter has a Dell Inspiron 1545, around a year old, her webcan has now started coming up with the following error message when she opens up the webcam:

WebcamDell2.exe has stopped working

I've read through the posts here and done the follow:

Locate the execute file (WebcamDell2.exe) buried in... 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell Webcam\Dell Webcam Central

Right clicked on it, then left click properties, then clicked on the compatibility tab, then changed compatibility from windows XP to Windows Vista service pack 2 (the latest one they had).

I currently cannot find the webcam drivers for your system.

Try using THESE DRIVERS in the Vista Compatibility mode

See if they'll install. Please use Internet Explorer and download the drivers, in your browser. Please read How to by-pass the Dell Download Manager

But we still get the same error message, any suggestions please?  She's driving me nuts over this!
