Webcam Trouble
I have a Dell Inspiron N4030 laptop with a built in webcam. Can't figure out how to connect the webcam or if its broken.
So, when I google my problem people keep giving instructions to go to Control Panel > Device Manager>Camera, or something along the lines of that. That isn't working. I follow the instructions but I never see Camera, or Webcam Central or anything of the sort. When I actually go on Dell Webcam Central it says to plug in a device. Does anyone know how to turn it on or if its broken? Please help!!!

Megpie,
Try reading...

Also try running the Webcam Diagnostics
Did the webcam show in the symptom tree?
Any error messages?
Is the computer under warranty?
