webcam
i have a problem with my dell inpiron n5110 my webcam is not working it is giving the error that webcam is being used by another application but it is not being used by any other i have cheked i have restarted it many times but problem is the same
what should i do

Hi Shiningstarr,
Welcome to Dell Community.
Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience.
Please update the webcam driver and check for functionality. Please follow the link mentioned below to update the driver.

If after updating the driver, if it does not work please follow the steps mentioned below
go to start > run > type regedit
go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{6BDD1FC6-810F-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}
right click on {6BDD1FC6-810F-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F} - new - string value
rename string to UpperFilters
right click on UpperFilters - modify
enter string value of ksthunk
exit
reboot the computer.
