where does 5150 pull air from?

is it from the bottom or from the side?

    I think it comes from the side and goes out the back. I'm not sure what the bottom thing does.

    The air enters on the bottom, a circular hole under a fan whose upper and lower bounds roughly coincide with the location of the backspace and enter keys. There are vents on the right side base and two on the back, but the majority of the air seems to come out of the back on the right side.

    The vent on the back center is for cooling the graphics card, but there is no fan involved.

    Ya, the fan is designed to take air from the bottom and send it out the back. Some air enters by the right side vent, which is there as a back-up in the event you have your laptop on a bed or, well, your lap and the bottom vent is blocked. The
