I was receiving old episodes of NBC etc on my computer without having to subscribe to any plan/company.  Then all of  sudden I no longer have the abililty and the icon for prerecorded TV is gone.  Can anyone suggest what happened and if I can fix this

I posted this about 2 wks ago and am trying again.  I received no response.  I was not subscribing to any provider for the TV when I was able to get it.  It was "load" and ready to go when I bought the machine, until about 4 mths ago.
