XPS 1330 video problem
Hi all, I have been working on the configuration issue between the XPS m1330 and the Belkin High-Speed Docking Station model F5U273. The XPS Laptop keeps Freezing the external monitor.
I have tryed latest driver from Belkin, installed like they specify, tryed with 2 Belkin High-Speed Docking Station, 3 XPS m1330 to eliminate any hardware problem. I have called Belkin with no luck and support.
I have disable Aero on the systems. “The Windows Vista operating system does not currently support two WDDM graphics drivers operating concurrently. This prevents USB and ExpressCard video docks from being able to support the Aero interface.” asDell specify on the US web site .
Checked all the BIOS settings, tryed a 19", 23",24" monitor...all the same..USB mouse, USB keyboard, LAN, everything was working great...except external monitor 24” monitor.

Using VGA or HDMI? Might not make to big of a difference still a huge difference in the ports on the 1330
Also, what are you doing when it freezes the external?
Does it only occur when the docking station is in th mix?

You'd need to bring it to the next step at this point and make Belkin aware of what their product is doing, it's obviously going to be an issue that they need to address.

its only when im using the Belkin, on the laptop port is ok... the whole problme is when im using the external video on the belkin...the freeze occur right after my icon starts appearing on the screens...then switch back to only the laptop screen...the external still have my walpaper and my mouse but frozen...
