XPS M1330 GPU ISSUE
After having my Graphics Processor failing and spending over 3 hours on the phone with Tech Support Dell wants to charge me. Dell's claim is that upon inspection of the laptop they found trace amounts of liquid. The laptop will boot into windows but the LCD shows the infamous multicolored verticle lines. I did not spill anything inside the machine and I fail to understand their position that liquids caused this issue. If liquids had been spilled the motherboard would be completely failing. The only thing failing is the GPU and I refuse to pay for a repair. They don't even want to charge me for the motherboard they want me to pay 360$ for a new LCD. I have purchased muyltiple machines from Dell. My fathers business bought 10 machines from Dell and the rest of my family has as well bought multiple machines. I will never do business with Dell again as I am a Computer Science student and disagree with the Tech Support assesment of the machine.

I can understand how you feel about the problem, and regardless of the fact they said they found trace amounts of liquid. That's why most people choose the complete care warranty with a laptop. It covers accidental damage including spills.
