2408WFP, won't turn on?

I have a Dell 2408WFP monitor that has suddenly stopped working. I've tried the hard reset. I've tried unplugging both ends of the power cord and then reconnecting. When I plug the power cord into the wall, the power button flashes green once; but, the monitor will not turn on. It doesn't matter whether it's connected to the computer or not. The result is the same. Thank you for your assistance.

Sounds like an internal component has failed. Unfortunately, Dell does not repair monitors, sell monitor components, or have disassembly documentation. Your only option is to take it to a local TV repair center to see if they can diagnose the issue. Then look for spare parts on eBay or craigslist. The cost of repair might outweigh the current market value of this 8 year old monitor.
