Hello,

I bought a DELL 2216H monitor and I am trying to connect it to my PC video card 

I bought a DVI-DP cable to make it work, it did not get any signal

Finally today I got an HDMI to DP cable, again this does not work, no signal is seen at the scree

Note that the monitor works fine as it will work with the VGA connection

What is the issue here? Compatibility problems? Will the monitor work only with the DP to DP cable?
