Monitor won't turn off
A problem arises when I turn off my computer, when Windows has shut down and the computer turns off the monitor remains on, the power on/off button does not turn the monitor off (though it can do so when the computer is on) the screen goes into a continuous sequence of totally black, red, blue, green, yellow etc that can onlly be stopped by pulling out the main power plug !
Is there a vitual apothecary out there who can prescribe a course of medicine to cure my ailing Mr Dell ?

All is now well with Dell. I have cured the problem by trial & error and a bit of luck operating on many combinations of the monitor's menu and + & - buttons.
