My Xbox360 results

2407WFP A04 Component
System- Display- HDTV Settings
Widescreen Extended 480P, 720P, 1080i (jittery) - 1:1, Aspect, Full
1080P no go

2407WFP A04 VGA
System- Display
1920x1080 WS = 1:1, Aspect, Fill (1:1 and Aspect BB LR)
1360x768, 1280x768 WS = 1:1, Aspect, Fill (Aspect BB TB)
1280x720, 848x480 WS and Normal = 1:1, Aspect, Fill (Aspect BB TB)
1280x1024, 1024x768, 640x480 WS and Normal = 1:1, Aspect, Fill (Aspect BB LR)

KEY -
WS = Widescreen
BB = Black Bars
LR = Left Right
TB = Top Bottom

    if I have an A02, and I want to use my 2407 with my 360, do I need to get it replaced?

    Explain use? The A02 will work, you just cannot choose 1:1 or Aspect when using 1600x1200. But, my testing shows that on VGA, you will not even see 1600x1200 using the Xbox 360.

    I want to buy the VGA cable and play xbox 360 @ 1080p with 1:1 ratio is this possible with my AO2?

    Yes. Since 1080p = 1920x1080. Keep me posted when you get the cable.

    you can buy a dvi to hdmi cable and in this case, monster cable makes a hdmi to dvi cable.  So I am thinking plug the hdmi into the 360 and of course use the dvi into the 2407.
