and I want to use my 2407 with my 360..
Explain use? The A02 will work, you just cannot choose 1:1 or Aspect when using 1600x1200. But, my testing shows that on VGA, you will not even see 1600x1200 using the Xbox 360.

I want to buy the VGA cable and play xbox 360 @ 1080p with 1:1 ratio is this possible with my AO2?XPS 410

you can buy a dvi to hdmi cable and in this case, monster cable makes a hdmi to dvi cable. So I am thinking plug the hdmi into the 360 and of course use the dvi into the 2407.XPS 410
