scree resolution too big. Cant fix it! HELP!!!!!

I need some help reducing the resolution of my screen. Already set at the ideal but too big to fit the screen. Please HELP!!!

Boot up in Safe Mode and change the settings.

Changing settings in safe mode will not fix your problem. What monitor are you using (size, model number), and what resolution is it set to?

The Monitor settings, I believe, is what is being questioned here. Try and use the OSD by hitting the Menu button on the monitor. Change the Horizontal and Vertical size until it fits your needs. Is this what you were talking about?
