My question is only for clarification purpose. My U2719DC states that the firmware is M3T207 installed. On the Dell website you can download the firmware M3T106. Which one is actual firmware?
That is an odd decision to say the least, it looks more like a mistake.
Can we have Displays team check it and possibly fix (reevaluate the decision, if needed)?
Right now it looks like people who now have monitors with pre-M3T207 firmware can't update to it? This hints that M3T207 may be buggy in some way that Dell doesn't want to spread it around? These questions are why this issue need to be fixed - there wouldn't be any.
No, not a mistake and not buggy. If a monitor firmware update specifically corrects a hardware or software issue, it would be web posted. Since M3T207 is not posted, this means that we made some regulatory change or a change in the Menu OSD which required us to create M3T207. Since these changes are not related to hardware or software, they would not apply to users. DELL-Chris M

That is a decision made by the Displays team to which we are not privy so cannot answer.
