What do I do with the 2407 I just ordered?

I just ordered my 2407, and I'm pretty sure it'll be an A02. I purchased this monitor with the intention of using the component for my X360, but I recently learned that there are still some crippling issues it. Should I return the monitor as soon as I get it and wait for an A03 version or will I be able to send mine in to get flashed to the new version

In all my meetings with the Displays group, no one has mentioned an A03

When then, if they updated the firmware at anytime, would I be able to ship it in?

They may have not mentioned an A03 yet, but rest assured there will be one.  The 2405 went up to A06, and considering none of the problems have been fixed with A02 it would be a stupid business decision to stop there.  If you have a three year warranty I imagine it can be swapped out anytime during those three years.  I'm kind of in the same boat as you, and decided to wait until I got mine before deciding what to do, as there is a slim chance we may get a decent panel.  Otherwise with a warrantied item I am fairly certain you can swap it out foir the next revision when it comes around.  Whether anyone is talking about it yet or not.

I really hope you are right eidospsogos. I don't see how they can NOT fix the component input when it worked fine in the 2405fpw.

Of course, how will we know if a new revision has been released (unless someone posts it to this or another forum)?

When someone buys it and sees "A03" on the back :smileytongue: (so yeh, someone would have to post).
