Cannot Backup Shared drives from client server?
Hi All,
I've got a problem, not being able to backup a shared drive from my client server.
Backup server and client server both on 7.4.3.
I tried doing a schedule backup and manual backup from the backup server by specifying the saveset G:\ which is a network shared drive to other clients as well.
The backup fails with the following error -probe job had unrecoverable failures.
can someone please tel me what am i not doing right?
oh yes its both windows servers...

Try one of the following below. This wors for me so it should for you.
1) run the legato services on the legato server as a domain user who has perms to map the drive.
2) in the legato client definition, under "apps and modules" tab, put a domain username in the "remote user" box and his password in the "password box".
