Also, are you sure this is correct way to restore NOTES data? I believe you need to use NML command for that? Am I right assuming you are restoring mail server data here?

Really? Hm, not sure how consistent that is with open database file :D You may find soon changing your opinion about that. I do remember in old days (NW 5.x) people were doing it with OFM as it was cheaper that Lotus Notes module, but it was still required to address backup of open and in use database.

Nevertheless, back to your problem. Did you try restore of single file? If you get the error then something else is the problem...

Are you restoring to the same box? If not, you need -c as well.

Did you try with single file? You to make sure that this is not an issue with -I option?

Yes I tried single file restore.

    I tried following options

    recover -f -I "C:\List.txt" -d "\\MAIL4\d$\RESTORED140" -s MAIL -J MAIL4 -a "D:\Lotus\Domino\data\mail\46712-1.nsf"

    recover -f -I "C:\List.txt" -d "\\MAIL4\d$\RESTORED140" -s MAIL -J MAIL4 -a

    recover -d "\\MAIL4\d$\RESTORED140" -s MAIL -S 3641622555 -J MAIL4 -a "D:\Lotus\Domino\data\mail\46712-1.nsf"

    recover -d "\\MAIL4\d$\RESTORED140" -s MAIL -J MAIL4 -a "\\mail\d$\Lotus\Domino\data\mail\46712-1.nsf"

    recover -d "\\MAIL4\d$\RESTORED140" -c MAIL -s MAIL -J MAIL4 -aI "C:\List.txt"

I am doing this recover because of I am not getting these files through Networker User.

The full Saveset recover ran successfully.

    Hi
I did not see any evidence of rpcinfo output to ensure that we can talk to networker server.

    Please check the following:

From MAIL4 (the client) run following, use lowercase for hostnames.
    and capture the output

    rpcinfo mail

    also run

    rpcinfo mail4
    (yes, to itself)

also type the contents of nsr\res\servers file on mail4

Finally, check the values of these attributes for client resource of mail4

    Storage Nodes
Recover Storage Nodes (make sure mail4 is listed, preferably first in this case)

Are you running the recover from machine mail4 ?
or are you on another machine?

    **************************
    Then I suggest this syntax

you want -S ssid# because you want to specify which save set you need (either by ssid or savetime)

    you can also specify part of the file name and it will match any wildcard filenames;

no need to specify -a because -S implies save set recovery already

for example any filename that starts with
    46712 will match 46712-1.nsf

    recover -d "\\MAIL4\d$\RESTORED140" -s mail
    -S 3641622555 -J mail4 -c mail4
    "D:\Lotus\Domino\data\mail\46712"
